I do my best to keep the most up to date offerings listed here on the site Space, but sometimes, I’m “too busy” out and about -ing and the website gets a little dated. So if there’s something in particular you’re looking for, including commissions for ART or you’d like me to HUNT some THING down for you, JUST ASK. :)
Hi, I’m Kymology.
here’s a short, sweet, and to the point introduction about
Things and Stuff.
For a long time I wanted a shop where I could sell a wide assortment of things but I could never land on any ONE THING. I haggled about the whats of it over and over again. Should I do art, should I do plants, should I do repurposed and upcycled things? Should I just stick to writing and scrap this whole maker thing.
Post cards, stickers, pins? Handmade cards, little prints. What about refinished furniture and thrifty wearables?! Mystery boxes, gems, smudge sticks, custom journals, unique care packages, 30 Day Challenge kits, KymsKitchen food yummies, pottery pieces, used books, what about my writing?!
So many interests and things in mind to do, how does anyone pick just one?! Not being able to pick a thing, was a whole thing! Until I decided I wouldn’t pick one and I decided to let myself “do it all”, whatever and whenever I fancied.
I decided it was okay to be a renaissance human and I feel very Da Vinci about myself and what I do with my life. My list of interests and abilities far exceeds any box I don’t want to fit in.
My want to give life to things I have salvaged, saved, grown, collected, created, envisioned, made, and differently purposed over time, now culminates in in person Pop up Shops and online stores, where I Show and Sell whatever the “thing” of the moment is.
I currently create in SERIES.
Fall 2024: was live plants and original art pieces: watercolor and gouache on paper.
It started in Fall 2024 with my FIRST POP UP SHOP and then I (just) kept going and made it a thing. I did EIGHT Pop up Shops in 3 months, the last quarter of 2024. I had found a thing I liked, this business that became a space where I could put "all" my time and energy (and things and stuff) into it and it would return money. My ideal had been found.
Winter 2024 Series: was Live Succulent Christmas Trees, Succulent Christmas Balls, handmade cards and prints, and other baulbes and oddities! I did EIGHT Pop up Shops in the last quarter of 2024 and that primed me to want to do a big thing of Things & Stuff-ing via Pop up Shops in 2025.
About 2025 goes here: zapped by bad Pop up Shop events led to getting a “brick and mortar” space and then TWO!
Beginning of Year 2026: I closed down my 2nd space at the end of last year and I am opening my 2nd second space at the end of this month. So in addition to the theme change by month, I feel I have lot to do in general, including setting up a brand new space from scratch!

When I’m not Things and Stuff – ing, you can find me thinking, writing, art-ing, doing or guiding Kymology Challenges, I used to hike a lot, travel a lot, kitchen a lot, but I haven't done much of that lately. I am still a self made uncertified philosopher. I’m still writing The Book.
