Back story: This are was a leggy beast!

4 days after starting this Challenge, I went back to the original aloe plant I painted and painted it more so from real life. If you refer to Nobody Puts Aloe in the Corner you’ll see how that was different the first time.

This time I took on painting the fluted wavy pot as it really was. I also looked to represent the leaves truly as they were. (Is it leaves when it’s aloe? I should know this.) In direction, in shape, in color, all of it. Anything I noticed, I looked to represent. The color of the pot was really more cream than yellow, and I still wholly made up the background, but the intent was to be more true to representing what was in front of me. And this proves that intent only gets us so far, in art and in life. ;)

In this case, this plant in pot is ALSO for sale! If you live local to me, buying the plant and the Plant Portrait of it, is an option! How cool would that be?!

Important note:

THIS PIECE DOES NOT COME FRAMED.

These pieces are SHOWN placed in a Basic Box Wood Frame which I love the aesthetic of for the simplicity and minimalist aesthetic. It COULD be a good choice for your frame and you will have the option to add it at checkout. But please note the piece DOES NOT COME FRAMED or in this frame. The picture is so you can see it in a setting but you will get to PYO frame for it! You can ADD THIS frame as an add on during check out.
