Back story:
How does a portrait of a person make its way into a plant portrait series?, you ask.
I’m not entirely sure. This one is a combo of (plant) wallpaper, flowers meant to be Edelweiss, which I understand to be German for mountain flower. This someone has said of me and thus, part “self portrait". Someone I know, word “plays” / multiple entendre, things I love: multiple meanings and interpretations. (Only when it’s nice and lovely though. Multiple interpretations can suck too!)
When the portrait doesn't come out looking like you, you just make a loose reference to it not being a self portrait. More bio than autio bio, perhaps!
